OK, now I'm worried

I haven't seen Miss Ruthie all morning. She likes sleeping late, but this is not like her.

I am thinking of running some errands and then padding up my knees and looking under furniture for her.

ETA: She finally emerged at about 4 pm.

She seems to have had something that made her antisocial. She emerged in the late afternoon that day (looking a bit bedraggled), had a bite to eat, disappeared again.

(She's a very dark tortie, so she hides well. LOL)

Next day: she emerged the minute I hit the kitchen in the morning and spent all morning lounging in the kitchen (on one of the dining chairs, which is one of her "safe spaces"). She hid herself in the afternoon, but I don't blame her, it was hot. My other two were sleeping it off as well.

today: she was sleeping on "her chair" in the kitchen (coolest place in the house because of proximity to fan), ate her food right up, and has moved her base of operations to be next to me and the laptop, which is more her normal MO. She also looks a lot perkier.
